At 48 hours after my Lifestyle Lift surgery, which for me was Wednesday afternoon, Dr. Castellano instructed me to remove and change my wrap and bandages. I removed my bandages to reveal a crusty gooey bruised mess. The video is not meant to scare anyone, just to share how I looked when I removed my wrap and bandages.
I noticed that I had lost some sensation on the sides of my face in front of my ears. I was really pulled tight through my neck, but that was the idea. I really didn’t look like myself, with the swollen eyes from my eyelid lift (blepharoplasty) and the pulled skin and bruising from the Lifestyle Lift.
Dr. Castellano also advised me that I could shower after 48 hours and I was excited about that. Just to get a shower and get some of the gook out of my hair made my day.
